Keeping Your Chirp Page Fresh

What’s an instant attention magnet? A Chirp page serving fresh looks and big energy. For creators who love remixing their style, here are the steps to make it happen. Head here first:

Edit Sections

To modify an existing bio link, click “Edit Page.” This delivers you to “Edit Sections,” where you can let your creative side run wild.

Still working on your vision? Not to worry, Chirp’s Page Builder Draft Mode allows for working towards a concept before going live. This ensures higher-quality published pages and fewer errors. Even better, it’s possible to add more features directly to the Page Builder without disrupting the page-building process.

At the top right-hand side of the page, a series of three buttons allows creators to view how their bio link appears on computers, tablets, and mobile phones.

Beside this is a Paintbrush icon. Clicking this opens up an “Appearance” screen with options for Layouts and Color Themes.

A share button opens a “Share Your Chirp window, with options for adding updated bio links to socials, copying your Chirp URL and generating a QR Code for sharing on your blog, website, etc.

Layout Options

There are two layouts to choose from:

  1. Cover, featuring a large square image, followed by content of choice.
  2. Avatar, a small circle image followed by content of choice.

Feeling like a Cover today and an Avatar next week? Go for it! Chirp is designed to let creators’ personalities evolve alongside their brand.

After reviewing all available sections, further customize the Chirp bio link by rearranging where each section appears on the page.

  1. On the page preview, identify the section you want to move.
    2. Hover over the section until the blue outline shows up.
    3. While holding the icon, drag and drop the section to a preferred location on the page.

Have sections not in use? Delete them!

  1. Locate the section for removal on the page preview.
  2. Hover over the section so that the blue outline appears.
  3. Click on the "trash can" icon to the right.
  4. Click “Delete.”

Profile

  1. After choosing a layout option, hover over the main image. A pencil icon will appear.
  2. A profile box will appear.
  3. Load the preferred image for the main profile box.
  4. Ensure the name reflected is what should appear to followers. The name listed will be the name used upon sign-up, but can be changed. For example, it’s possible to use a different name that might be used on social media accounts.
  5. Utilize the bio area to provide followers with more information about your brand.
  6. Click 'Save Changes.'

Add a Color Theme

  1. At the top of the screen, click on the "paintbrush" icon.
  2. Ten eye-popping color themes available: Earth, Clay, Editorial, Graphite, Crimson, Bloom, Magnet, Moonlit, Olive, Indigo. Click through to see how each plays with the chosen template.

Rock a Background

  1. A background image can be uploaded to use instead of a color. To do so, click 'Upload Image' within the 'Background' section. *Note: Depending on the theme you choose, this option may not be available.
  2. Click "Save Changes."
