Hey Chirp, Show Me the Money!
Creating with Chirp™ is thrilling. What really amps up excitement – cashing in.
Ready to stack some green? Kick things off by setting up your payment details by following these steps, which begin with the box marked Payments. Once the information requested is input, creators can start earning income through Chirp.
You can track your balance by going to https://creator.chirp.me/, clicking the Menu icon towards the top-left corner of the page, then selecting Insights . The balance is calculated by adding total creator revenue and subtracting completed payouts. At the bottom of the box, the Payment Threshold of $100.00 appears. What does this mean? Chirp will not payout until the creator has generated at least $100 in revenue.
Once creators have generated $100 in revenue via their bio link, they’re eligible to be paid. An automated notice will be sent to Chirp Finance to process the payout. Creators who are eligible for earnings will receive payments on a regular schedule after setting up their payment details.
To the right of Your Balance box is the Payout and Payment History box. Information about total payments to date is reflected here. Any corrections made will be marked with an asterisk (*).
What you won’t see in any of these boxes? Platform fees. Chirp doesn’t charge them! Creators keep 100% of what they earn.
Worried about Payment Security? Don’t be. This article will tell you everything you need to know about the security of your Chirp funds. The low down: Chirp keeps Personal Identifiable Information (PII) funding details completely safe.
As for Payouts, Chirp uses a trusted third-party provider, Tipalti, to securely manage payout processing.
In Payments, there are three sections: Settings, where you input your account information; History, which shows Approval Date, Amount Submitted, Payment Method, and Status. There’s also an Export to Excel button to allow for tracking payments through your budget or tax platform. Finally, there’s a Corrections tab.
