Answers to some of your most asked questions

How do I delete my chirp account?

Unfortunately, at this time, chirp does not offer the ability for you to delete your own chirp account. Since we understand that it is an important functionality to have, it is on the roadmap to be built and release soon.

However, our developers can delete chirp accounts on the backend. If you wish for yours to be deleted before we release the self-serve feature, please request via our Support team at support@chirp.me.

Why are my new social media posts not appearing on my chirp page?

The sync between your chirp page and your social account(s) occurs once per day. Once the next sync happens, the new content will appear.

The chirp team is creating a plan to increase this cadence, though!

Why are deleted social media posts still showing on my chirp page?

The sync between your chirp page and your social account(s) occurs once per day. Once the next sync happens, the deleted content will disappear.

Can I have more than one chirp page?

Yes, you can have multiple chirp pages within your chirp account. To add additional chirp pages, click on the 'Create New' button from the 'Pages' section and follow the same process to build your page as you did with your original page.

Can I change the URL of my chirp page?

Yes! While on the 'Pages' section, locate the "pencil and paper" icon next to your existing chirp URL. Click on the icon and enter in the new URL. Once done, click 'Save'.

If the URL is already in use, the new URL will not save. Please enter a new URL or use what you already have in place. Once a unique URL is found, it can be saved.

Why was my ad monetization disabled?

If your account has its monetization disabled, your page does not meet the requirements. To learn more about chirp's monetization requirements, please click here

What happens to my account if I do not add my banking details?

If your account meets the monetization requirements, it will be enabled for monetization and can earn revenue. However, banking details are required for payout so any revenue generated will be held until the details are added.

My account meets monetization requirements, so why is monetization still disabled?

Monetization is not automatically applied at the time of account creation. Each account is reviewed before being enabled for monetization to ensure that the requirements are met. Accounts are typically reviewed within 24 business hours, but there may be accounts that require additional time to review.
